ISO Travel Solutions GmbH joins the circle of OTDS members as of June 1, 2018. The Travel Technology experts from Nuremberg have been offering the possibility of data export in the Open Tourist Data Standard (OTDS) in their modular tour operator system Pacific for quite some time already. Joining the OTDS e.V. thus is the logical consequence for Markus Kretschmer, General Manager of ISO Travel Solutions, to be more closely involved in the development of associations and of the format.
ISO Travel Solutions provides numerous tour operators in the German and international market with enriched hotel packages of its Pacific customers in the OTDS format. The accommodation services, often in combination with additional services such as tickets and other add-ons, are combined by those tour operators into attractive package tours.
“Our Pacific users often have very specific requirements for the production and distribution of their travel offers,” explains Markus Kretschmer. “In the past, various individual formats were used for this. We recommended our customers to switch to OTDS in order to provide all partners with the offer data in a uniform standard format. This saves time and effort for all parties; in addition, the offer data is delivered to the sales channels promptly and in high quality”.
Through membership in the OTDS association, ISO Travel Solutions is now actively supporting the further development of the format and benefits from the added value for members in terms of support, communication and documentation.
