Among many tour operators, the data format OTDS is an established standard. Therefore a constantly increasing number of service providers in the travel agency is gearing their service portfolio to this: With CFM_media GmbH, an e-commerce expert will join the OTDS association on 1 July.
CFM_media is a web agency specialized in the tourism industry. The 30-member team around Managing Director Frank Müller offers tour operators a fully-responsive standard IBE based on OTDS data for use on their websites. “Our pilot customer Bentour has been using the IBE for several months now and states that the look-to-book ratio has improved significantly,” Frank Müller describes the experience of a customer. “This is certainly also due to the fact that thanks to the OTDS data, alternative flights can now be displayed in the IBE and the prices are always up-to-date. With ETI and Windrose, two other OTDS users have already opted for this e-commerce solution from CFM_media. In addition, there are inquiries from well-known tour operators and OTAs who would like to use CFM_media’s new standard IBE before the end of this year.
The booking engine also scores with tour operators with its individual configurability. The default values in the selection fields of the search mask, the filter criteria or the attributes to be displayed can be selected and changed as required. Another important advantage is the quick and uncomplicated integration of the IBE into an existing website.
