Ömer Karaca

Ömer Karaca's professional career started in 2005 and thus his close ties with the software solutions of Schmetterling International. After completing his training, he worked in a wide variety of positions within IT, qualified as an IT project manager in evening classes and was Technical Manager. At the same time, he was voted Germany's best young tourism manager by the industry magazine fvw.
In 2016, Ömer Karaca was appointed Vice President Technology at Schmetterling International. Since then with courage and creative ideas he has established Schmetterling Technology as an IT service provider in the travel industry.
In 2022, Ömer Karaca was appointed to the Executive Board of Schmetterling International. Additionally, he is a member of the QTA Managing Director Committee and has been a member of the OTDS Board since June 2020. He is also managing partner for the flight consolidator Schmetterling Air Conso.
