Michael Fischerkeller

As Chief Information Officer, Michael Fischerkeller is part of the management team of the dynamic tour operator vtours. He began his career in travel technology as a software developer at FTI in Munich in 1992 and was involved in setting up its consolidator as Technical Director. In the following years, he worked as an independent project manager in the industry. In 2007, Michael Fischerkeller joined vtours as CIO and returned to this very position after a short stint as CIO at LTUR.

With his involvement in the Board of Directors at OTDS e.V., Michael Fischerkeller wants to promote and drive the Open Travel Data Standard OTDS throughout the value chain in order to standardize as many processes as possible.
