Bentour Reisen, a Swiss specialist for trips to Turkey with a strong customer base also in Germany, fully backs the OTDS format and switched its data production to it. In the IBE of its corporate website, Bentour’s travel offers score in the fields of timeliness and reliability regarding availability and the displayed prices. Numerous options for filtering the offers as well as new features in the IBE help the user to find the right offer matching his or her indivual request for a very special trip.
Data deliveries covering the entire Bentour offering including the recently created dynamic brand BENX are generated by the tour operator system WBS Blank and sent to Traveltainment on a daily basis. Here the OTDS-data are interpreted and integrated into BistroPortal, the frontoffice tool for travel agents respectively into Internet Booking Engines. The distribution system Travel-IT however is connected to the Bentour OTDS-data by sending inquiries to the OTDS-Player of Bewotec. Bentour's applications thus prove the universal applicability of OTDS for centrally and decentrally structured distribution technologies.
