Thorsten Hendricks

Thorsten Hendricks, Deputy IT Manager at Schauinsland-Reisen, today looks back on over 20 years of experience in the travel industry: After his professional education, which includes an vocational training as office management assistant, a Bachelor of tourism, and a master of Computer Science (FH), he took over the IT project management at various tour operators in 2000-2009. Since 2009, Thorsten Hendricks has been working in the IT department of Schauinsland-Reisen, which he has also managed professionally as deputy manager since 2011.As an expert in WBS Blank software for many years, he has also supervised the use of data formats from INFX and KATI to OTDS in projects during this time and played a major role in their development. The support of several OTDS migration projects made him a specialist for the Open Travel Data Standard, for which he has been contributing his expertise to the association's board of directors since June 2020.
